What you'll do

• Verify patient identity and exam orders
• guide patients through procedures
• perform 2D and 3D ultrasound examinations
• transfer images to PACS and resolve system issues
• complete measurements, documentation, and reporting according to protocols
• prepare medications, supplies, and equipment using sterile technique when appropriate
• assist physicians with ultrasound guidance during interventional procedures
• conduct procedural timeouts and follow safety and regulatory requirements
• collaborate on scheduling, protocols, and patient flow
• participate in quality improvement, quality assurance, accreditation, and departmental projects
• assist with training, equipment maintenance, and inventory.
