Procurement Buyer

The Procurement Buyer role is onsite in Saint Petersburg, FL, Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Compensation is $32 per hour. The buyer supports site and global procurement initiatives for Pharma Solutions. The role manages purchasing from requisition through delivery and payment, helping secure materials and services for launches and other business needs. Supplier evaluation, cost analysis, contract compliance, and issue resolution support reliable supply and procurement savings.

What you'll do

• Support procurement initiatives for cost savings, contract opportunities, supplier quality, and risk mitigation
• process approved requisitions and purchase orders
• manage the purchase order lifecycle in JDE ERP
• resolve order, delivery, and invoice issues
• source and evaluate suppliers
• negotiate contracts
• analyze spend and supplier performance
• coordinate with internal stakeholders and suppliers
• maintain purchasing records and compliance.

Why this role

A bachelor’s or associate degree in a relevant field is preferred with at least three years of purchasing or supply chain experience; alternatively, at least 10 years of relevant experience may substitute for a degree.
