The Durable Medical Equipment (DME) Driver role is onsite in Buffalo, NY, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., occasional weekends, and rotational on-call and holiday responsibilities. Pay is $21.25 per hour. The role supports Hospice Buffalo’s delivery of equipment and supplies to patients and families. The driver delivers, sets up, and retrieves durable medical equipment, oxygen, and medical supplies, instructing patients and families in proper use. The role also maintains equipment, documentation, infection-control practices, and warehouse stock so equipment is clean and ready for use.

What you'll do

• Deliver, set up, and pick up durable medical equipment, oxygen, and medical supplies
• instruct patients and families on proper equipment use
• inspect equipment for cleanliness and operation
• document equipment and deliveries, including serial numbers
• follow infection-control and standard-precaution practices
• unload and sort returned equipment
• perform routine warehouse duties, cleaning, stocking, and general equipment repairs.
