Preschool Teacher

The Preschool Teacher role is onsite in Houston, TX. Compensation is $15–$19.27 per hour. Cadence Education provides early childhood education through research-based curricula and classroom programs in supportive learning environments. The teacher supports daily classroom operations and curriculum delivery, helping create a safe, nurturing environment that meets children’s physical, social, emotional, developmental, and behavioral needs. Working with the Lead Teacher, families, and colleagues, the role supports children’s learning while maintaining safety and licensing compliance.

What you'll do

• Support an inclusive classroom and welcoming relationships with children and families
• assist the Lead Teacher with developmentally appropriate curriculum and Cadence Signature Programs
• follow safety and supervision procedures
• document and report incidents
• support behavior management
• communicate with families and colleagues
• participate in required meetings, training, and professional development.

Why this role

Schedules may vary with enrollment, staffing ratios, and operational needs; shifts are not guaranteed to be eight hours. An associate or bachelor’s degree and CDA are preferred but not required if state licensing requirements are met.
