What you'll do

• Assess wounds for type, severity, and stage
• develop, implement, and update individualized wound treatment plans with the care team
• clean wounds and change dressings according to physician orders and evidence-based practices
• monitor for infection or complications and report changes
• document assessments, treatments, progress, and outcomes
• educate staff, residents, and families
• assist with pressure-injury prevention
• participate in care-plan meetings and quality improvement.

Why this role
