Contract Document Review Attorney

The Contract Document Review Attorney role is hybrid, with four days per week onsite in Washington, DC; pay is $25–$30 per hour. Direct Counsel is recruiting two junior-level attorneys for a litigation document review project with a law firm. The attorneys will review and code litigation documents against project protocols, identify material requiring escalation, and maintain accuracy and productivity while meeting deadlines. Their work supports litigation matters through consistent, confidential review of large volumes of information.

What you'll do

• Conduct first-level litigation document review
• assess relevance, responsiveness, privilege, confidentiality, and other criteria
• code documents in electronic review platforms
• follow project protocols
• escalate potentially privileged, sensitive, or significant documents
• maintain accuracy and productivity
• meet deadlines and review metrics
• work overtime and occasional weekends as project needs require.
