Job overview

The Home Health Caregiver role is based in Hoffman Estates, IL, with care delivered at client homes throughout Chicago’s Northwest Suburbs. Compensation is $18–$20 per hour. Assisting Hands Home Care provides one-on-one support to help seniors and individuals live safely and comfortably at home. The caregiver follows each client’s care plan and assists with personal care, meals, mobility, daily routines, and companionship. By documenting care and reporting changes to the office, the caregiver helps clients maintain comfort, safety, and as much independence as possible.

What you'll do

• Assist clients with bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal care
• help with meals and light housekeeping
• provide companionship
• assist with walking, mobility, and daily routines
• help clients stay active and engaged
• provide reminders and support
• follow established care plans
• report changes and concerns to the office
• maintain accurate care documentation
• travel to client locations throughout the service area.

Why this role
