CNC Mill and Lathe Machinist

The CNC Mill and Lathe Machinist role is onsite in Willoughby, OH, and pays $25–$38 per hour. Bowden Manufacturing supplies precision machining for aerospace, defense, and commercial customers. The machinist independently sets up, operates, and inspects CNC mill and/or lathe work to produce parts that meet quality, efficiency, and safety standards. The role works with engineering, quality, and production teams to meet production goals and support continuous improvement.

What you'll do

• Set up and operate CNC mills and/or lathes for pre-programmed production jobs
• adjust tool offsets, work coordinates, and machine parameters
• perform in-process and final inspections using precision measuring equipment
• monitor tooling and perform routine machine maintenance
• troubleshoot machining issues and support continuous improvement
• maintain a clean, organized, safe work environment
• collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams.

Why this role

U.S. citizenship required; five or more years of CNC milling and/or turning experience required. High school diploma or equivalent, blueprint and GD&T knowledge, and experience with precision measuring and inspection tools are required. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
