What you'll do

• Prepare patients for stress tests, explain procedures, obtain consent, and attach monitoring equipment
• administer and monitor stress echocardiograms, treadmill, nuclear, and pharmacologic stress tests
• monitor vital signs and recognize abnormalities or distress
• collaborate with the healthcare team and report findings to the supervising cardiologist
• maintain and calibrate equipment
• provide pre- and post-test instructions
• perform PET CT and nuclear medicine/cardiology procedures
• maintain EMR records
• follow safety and infection-control protocols
• assist with patient care and emergency response as needed.
