Senior Systems Architect

Job overview

The Senior Systems Architect role is onsite in Springfield, VA, with compensation of $130,000–$170,000 per year. Mission Intelligence Group’s architects support GEOINT professionals and critical national security missions. The role provides technical leadership for enterprise architecture design and implementation, aligning solutions with requirements and mission objectives. It also guides architecture teams, evaluates technology and integration options, and maintains traceability from requirements through implementation.

What you'll do

• Lead design, development, maintenance, and documentation of solution architectures
• align architecture with enterprise standards and strategic goals
• mentor mid-level and junior systems architects
• analyze user requirements, workflows, and system limitations
• recommend enhancements based on mission needs and emerging technologies
• evaluate applications, APIs, data, cloud, platform, and infrastructure services
• support architecture reviews and technical assessments
• maintain traceability from requirements through implementation.
