Medical Assistant

Job overview

The Medical Assistant role is onsite at the Cedar Park, TX clinic, with pay of $18–$22 per hour. Travel to surrounding Advanced Pain Care clinics may be required, with mileage reimbursement provided. What you'll do

• Greet and escort patients
• verify patient information, history, and medications
• interview patients and record vital signs and chart information
• may draw blood and prepare specimens
• prepare treatment rooms
• safeguard medical records
• complete coding as needed
• communicate physician orders and surgery information
• schedule surgeries and prepare related forms
• maintain supplies and equipment
• follow infection-control and safety procedures.
