What you'll do

• Assemble or install equipment and parts involving simple wiring, soldering, or connections
• perform routine tests and operate simple test equipment
• record and maintain engineering metric data
• troubleshoot and repair electronic, electromechanical, and mechanical training systems
• perform preventive maintenance on listed trainers
• diagnose malfunctions to component level
• splice and terminate cables and wires
• maintain equipment inventory and storage
• follow electrostatic-discharge policies
• instruct Air Force personnel on equipment operation and care
• use technical manuals, schematics, diagrams, and plans.
