Restoration Crew Chief

The Restoration Crew Chief works onsite in Downers Grove, IL, with compensation starting at $20–$25 per hour, negotiable based on experience. ServiceMaster DSI helps families and businesses recover from fire and water damage through restoration services. The Crew Chief leads project work and supervises assigned restoration technicians and laborers to complete residential and commercial cleanup and restoration projects safely, on time, and to quality standards. The role also supports staff development, project documentation, equipment care, and customer communication.

What you'll do

• Lead and supervise restoration technicians and staff laborers
• complete fire and water cleanup and restoration work, including mitigation, light demolition, water extraction, carpet and upholstery cleaning, mold abatement, and content handling
• evaluate work quality and productivity
• support staff training
• maintain equipment and supplies
• complete project forms and photo documentation
• and communicate with customers.
