Security Compliance Engineer

The engineer owns security compliance and assurance across governance, risk, and compliance, security operations, and engineering. The work helps protect sensitive information, keep systems audit-ready, support client authorizations, and integrate security controls into technology delivery.

What you'll do

• Maintain security plans, policies, evidence, and authorization packages
• support client ATO efforts and security assessments
• run continuous monitoring, control assessments, and vulnerability and patch management
• manage vendor-maintained SOC, MDR, and SIEM services
• conduct access reviews and security change reviews
• assess vendor and platform security
• partner with the Public Health Technology team on CI/CD, cloud configuration, and secure delivery
• support incident response and AI security governance.
