The Music Instructor (Keyboards) role is onsite in Saint Louis, MO. Pay is $19–$21 per hour. School of Rock’s performance-based music education program uses shows to teach music. The instructor delivers keyboard lessons and rehearsals that build students’ musical fundamentals and help them develop music and life skills. The role also communicates student progress to parents and supports the school’s program and facilities.

What you'll do

• Teach private lessons and show rehearsals
• use the School of Rock Method to teach music fundamentals
• create and document lesson plans
• record lesson notes and assignments for at-home practice
• communicate with parents and students
• assist with rehearsals and facility upkeep
• pitch in during canceled lessons as needed.
