Assistant Teacher

The Assistant Teacher role is an onsite, full-time position in Prosper, TX, with pay of $15–$16 per hour. Amazing Explorers Academy provides early childhood education with a STEAM-focused curriculum. The role supports the Lead Teacher in supervising children and creating a learning environment that promotes social, physical, and intellectual development. It helps ensure classroom activities follow the curriculum and safety procedures while supporting communication with families and collaboration among educators.

What you'll do

• Follow the daily schedule and implement curriculum
• maintain child observation records and conduct periodic assessments
• interact with children and model appropriate behavior
• communicate respectfully with families
• follow safety and security procedures and document incidents
• supervise children
• maintain attendance records and family updates using digital tools
• prepare and clean the classroom
• assist with meals and snacks
• participate in accreditation requirements when applicable.
