Biller/Collector III

Job overview

The Biller/Collector III is an onsite role based in Walnut, CA, with compensation ranging from $27 to $28 per hour. This position supports the revenue cycle department by managing delinquent patient accounts and coordinating with insurance payers. The role exists to ensure accurate and timely collection of medical debt. The Biller/Collector III will initiate outbound calls, resolve billing discrepancies, and provide leadership and mentorship to a team of 5-10 staff members to meet organizational financial goals.

What you'll do

• Collects and recovers payment from patients and insurance companies for delinquent accounts.
• Initiates outbound calls to satisfy delinquent accounts.
• Communicates with commercial insurance, Medicare, and Medicaid.
• Supervises and mentors other Biller/Collectors within the department.
