Program Manager II – Energy Planning

Job overview

The Program Manager II role is remote, with work supporting Albany, NY, and must accommodate Eastern Time work hours. Compensation is $60–$65 per hour. The assignment supports development of the Energy Improvement and Development Plan (EIDP) and the Regulatory Affairs team. The role coordinates energy-planning work, technical input, and external contractor deliverables so that analyses, briefings, and plan materials are completed on schedule. It also monitors New York State and broader energy-planning developments and supports communication with agencies and advisory groups.

What you'll do

• Develop EIDP information requests, briefings, and findings
• monitor energy-planning processes in New York State and developments at the federal level and in other states
• interface with technical advisory groups
• coordinate meetings, agendas, and analytical deliverables
• manage external contractor teams, including statements of work, contracts, workplans, work-product evaluation, budgets, and invoicing
• provide additional support to Regulatory Affairs team outcomes.
