The Desktop Systems Lead / Senior Desktop Systems Analyst role is onsite in Fort Belvoir, VA, with compensation of $98,000–$103,000 per year. The position supports the DTRA I3TS program, providing enterprise IT support for DTRA’s Information Management & Technology Directorate and its mission partners. The role leads desktop installation and endpoint operations, resolves complex system and printer issues, and coordinates workstation refreshes, imaging, and peripheral deployments. It also mentors analysts, manages escalations and service queues, and works with network and cybersecurity teams to support secure, reliable IT services.

What you'll do

• Coordinate desktop installation projects
• configure and maintain endpoint systems and deploy operating system images
• integrate peripherals and printers, including in SCIF areas
• troubleshoot Windows and device-driver issues
• analyze root causes and develop incident mitigation strategies
• oversee workstation refreshes, data migrations, and imaging
• manage ticket queues and escalations
• maintain procedures and technical playbooks
• mentor junior analysts
• coordinate with network and cybersecurity teams.
