Yard and Delivery Associate

The Yard and Delivery Associate role is onsite in Brookings, SD. Compensation is $20–$22 per hour. The position supports yard, delivery, receiving, and inventory operations at Hamlin Building Center. The associate helps ensure building materials are accurately received, stored, prepared, and delivered. The work supports customer orders through safe material handling, reliable deliveries, inventory updates, and an organized yard.

What you'll do

• Load and unload materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment
• match loads to orders and protect goods
• drive delivery trucks to customer job sites and follow routes and schedules
• process returns and restock materials
• assist customers with will-call orders and safe load securement
• monitor inventory and update WMS records
• verify incoming shipments against purchase orders
• report discrepancies
• organize and clean yard bins and storage areas.
