Pulsed Power Engineer

The Pulsed Power Engineer role is onsite in Colorado Springs, CO, with an annual salary range of $80,000 to $140,000. The High Power Electromagnetics Division supports research and development for defense and government customers. The engineer contributes to the design, analysis, and hands-on development of pulsed power systems and related high-voltage and high-frequency equipment, helping advance systems from concept through implementation.

What you'll do

• Design and analyze high-power switching technologies, pulsed forming networks, high-voltage insulation, compact and repetitive pulsed power systems, SPICE simulations, and protection and filtering circuits. Work hands-on with hardware and communicate experimental procedures, data, and analyses. Collaborate in a multidisciplinary engineering environment
• significant travel may be required, including trips lasting 2–3 weeks a few times a year.
