The Senior Java Full Stack Engineer, IT Operations Automation role is onsite in Austin, TX, with compensation of $50–$53 per hour on W-2. Applab Systems Inc is recruiting for work focused on IT operations automation. The engineer builds and supports full-stack applications and reliable automation workflows for operational tasks. The role combines Java and React development, database and API integration, and recovery-aware automation to help automate activities such as credential rotation, patching, certificate renewal, and failover.

What you'll do

• Develop with Java and Spring Boot, REST APIs, Spring Security, and Spring Data
• build front-end features with React and JavaScript or TypeScript
• use Linux, shell scripting, Ansible, and Splunk
• work with Oracle and PostgreSQL, SQL, and PL/SQL
• build automation workflows with retries, idempotency, checkpointing, failure recovery, and rollback
• automate operational activities
• integrate with ServiceNow or similar ITSM APIs
• apply testing, code review, and CI/CD practices.
