What you'll do

• Complete and submit daily statistical data
• plan, supervise, and coordinate patient financial services and clerical staff
• train employees
• review work flow and batches
• make credit decisions regarding admission deposits in problem situations
• discuss accounts and payment arrangements with patients
• verify insurance
• oversee daily closing and payment posting
• perform cashier duties and payment corrections
• audit billing
• prepare reports
• maintain HIPAA confidentiality.
