What you'll do

• Operate equipment safely and maintain a clean work area
• set up and operate machines using blueprints, work instructions, and machine knowledge
• install and align tools, attachments, and fixtures
• sharpen or replace tooling
• position and secure workpieces
• monitor machine indicators and report problems
• perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting
• inspect first runs for quality and tolerance
• report defective materials
• record job transactions in ERP software
• cross-train and perform other tasks when necessary.
