Armed School Security Officer

The Armed School Security Officer role is onsite in Dallas, TX. Compensation is $20 per hour. Tier One provides integrated security services, including protection for schools, businesses, places of worship, and critical infrastructure across Texas. The officer provides a visible, professional campus security presence, protects students and staff, and helps maintain a safe and welcoming school environment. The role also supports emergency preparedness, access monitoring, incident response, and coordination with school and law enforcement partners.

What you'll do

• Protect students, faculty, staff, visitors, and school property
• serve as the primary security professional assigned to a campus
• build trusted relationships with the school community and law enforcement
• enforce applicable laws and school procedures
• monitor visitor management, access control, surveillance, and campus activity
• respond to security concerns
• coordinate drills and preparedness
• deliver age-appropriate safety presentations
• support emergency responders
• prepare reports and records.
