Materials Associate — Onsite, Multiple Shifts

The Materials Associate role is full-time and onsite in Costa Mesa, CA, with multiple listed schedules: Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m. or 3:00 p.m.–11:30 p.m., and Tuesday–Saturday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. Pay is $24 per hour. Sigma Design is recruiting for a defense technology company specializing in autonomous systems and next-generation defense technologies. The role maintains accurate physical and system inventory to support production and distribution. It connects material movement with ERP/WMS records, resolves discrepancies, and supports receiving, shipping, transfers, and warehouse operations so teams can access the right materials when needed.

What you'll do

• Perform cycle counts and physical inventories
• reconcile inventory with ERP/WMS records and investigate discrepancies
• document receipts, issues, transfers, and adjustments
• identify, label, locate, and track materials
• coordinate with production, shipping, and purchasing
• expedite material movement
• receive, inspect, and store supplies
• operate forklifts and pallet jacks
• maintain warehouse safety and organization
• follow handling and packaging procedures, including hazardous materials when applicable.
