Personal Support Specialist (PSS) – Androscoggin County

The Personal Support Specialist (PSS) role is in person in client homes in the Livermore, ME area and Androscoggin County. Pay is $17–$20 per hour. MaineTouch LLC provides in-home personal care and support to adults and seniors to promote safety, independence, and stability. The specialist provides hands-on, non-medical assistance according to each client’s authorized plan of care. The work supports daily living, comfort, and safe participation in home and community routines.

What you'll do

• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, oral care, toileting, and hygiene
• support mobility and transfers
• help with light housekeeping, laundry, dishes, and linens
• assist with meals, grocery shopping, and errands as outlined in the care plan
• provide companionship
• observe and report changes
• document services
• follow infection-control, safety, confidentiality, and emergency procedures.
