What you'll do

• Develop menus, daily specials, and special-event offerings
• manage food and labor costs, purchasing, inventory, and portion control
• hire, train, schedule, and supervise kitchen staff
• maintain food quality, presentation, and consistency
• ensure sanitation, health, and safety compliance
• oversee equipment maintenance, cleanliness, and energy conservation. Represent the restaurant at press, community, and charity events as time allows.
