Environmental LDAR Technician

The Environmental LDAR Technician role is an onsite position in Rosemount, MN, paying $22–$24 per hour. Insight Environmental provides environmental consulting and compliance services to clients across the United States. The technician helps clients meet environmental compliance standards by inspecting and monitoring refinery sites. The work includes leak detection and repair inspections, equipment-based monitoring, maintaining records and databases, and preparing reports that support safe and compliant operations.

What you'll do

• Perform environmental compliance inspections at an oil refinery using air-monitoring equipment and data collectors
• conduct environmental inspection, monitoring, and testing, including Leak Detection and Repair inspections using a flame ionization detector
• manage the LeakDAS database
• maintain component identification and piping and instrument diagrams
• keep monitoring records
• generate maintenance work orders
• prepare periodic reports
• perform optical gas imaging inspections
• participate in weekly compliance and safety meetings.
