Oracle Database Administrator

The Oracle Database Administrator role is onsite in Las Vegas, NV. Pay is $45.45–$50.75 per hour. The role maintains corporate Oracle databases and supports enterprise systems and development teams. The DBA protects data integrity, security, retention, and recoverability while designing, deploying, monitoring, and optimizing database solutions that meet project and architecture standards.

What you'll do

• Evaluate Oracle patch releases and development patch requests
• manage changes across development, test, QA, and production environments and deploy approved production changes
• provide 24x7 rotational on-call support, root cause analysis, and preventive follow-through
• monitor databases and resolve issues
• optimize PL/SQL and queries
• support high-availability architecture, nightly ETL, and enterprise enhancement projects
• collaborate on database design
• document database architecture
• plan capacity and produce management reports
• develop database security policies and procedures.
