What you'll do

• Compile payroll data including time tracking, taxes, insurance, and garnishments
• prepare input forms and enter wage and deduction data
• review wages and correct errors
• record changes affecting net wages and employee transfers
• prorate expenses for cost accounting records
• prepare reports of earnings, taxes, and deductions
• maintain leave-pay and nontaxable-wage records
• prepare and issue paychecks.
