Agile Scrum Tester I

The Agile Scrum Tester I role is onsite in Dahlgren, VA, with partial telework of one day every two weeks. Compensation is $75,000–$100,000 per year. The role supports Zekiah’s IT services for systems engineering and information management systems across major Department of Defense programs. This tester helps the cross-functional product team deliver reliable, high-value software for mission-critical operations. The work combines continuous manual and automated testing, exploratory testing, defect follow-up, and quality collaboration throughout Scrum development.

What you'll do

• Refine user stories and acceptance criteria
• execute manual and automated functional, regression, and integration tests
• identify and maintain automated test suites and integrate testing into CI/CD
• conduct exploratory testing
• log, track, and retest defects
• participate in Scrum ceremonies
• support unit-test strategy, pair testing, and Definition of Done practices.
