What you'll do

• Complete head-to-toe body audits for new admissions and readmissions
• review new skin alterations and ensure appropriate skin sheets, treatments, specialty mattresses, Braden scale updates, repositioning and heel-protection orders, and care plans
• update skin sheets every seven days
• assist with admissions when directed
• consult with nursing staff on assessments and skin-care plans
• initiate consultation or referral requests
• assess residents and records and refer abnormal findings for physician evaluation
• supervise subordinate staff
• may act as a Unit Nurse when directed.
