The CNC Mill Machinist / Setup Machinist role is onsite in Middleboro, MA. Compensation is $27–$32 per hour, depending on experience. REXA is expanding its manufacturing operations at a new facility in Middleborough and is hiring for its manufacturing team. The machinist sets up and operates CNC milling machines to produce precision components. By interpreting drawings, inspecting parts, troubleshooting machining issues, and working with production, quality, and engineering, the role supports product quality and manufacturing processes.

What you'll do

• Read blueprints, engineering drawings, setup sheets, and work instructions
• set up and operate CNC milling machines
• set tools, part zero, and offsets
• select tooling and workholding
• perform dry runs and part inspections
• use precision measuring equipment
• make minor CNC program edits
• monitor tool wear
• troubleshoot machining problems
• maintain production and inspection records
• collaborate with production, quality, and engineering
• perform routine preventive maintenance.
