Preschool Cook

The Preschool Cook role is onsite in Menomonee Falls, WI. Pay is $15–$16 per hour. The cook supports The Learning Experience by preparing daily nutritious meals for preschool children and helping protect their health and safety. The role plans and prepares meals that meet nutritional requirements, tracks food allergies, and follows food safety and sanitation practices. Coordination with center leadership on supplies and inventory helps maintain reliable meal service for children.

What you'll do

• Plan, prepare, and cook nutritious meals for preschool children
• track each child’s food allergies and communicate identified allergies to teachers with each food delivery
• follow food safety, handling, storage, and sanitation procedures
• collaborate with center leadership to purchase food and supplies
• maintain inventory records as required by local and state agencies
• communicate with parents and children and adapt to daily childcare-center needs.
