Senior Manufacturing Technician

The Senior Manufacturing Technician role is onsite in San Jose, CA, with compensation of $28.60–$38.13 per hour. Gener8 provides engineering design services and manufactures complex instruments, software, and consumables for life science and medical industries. This hands-on role develops and prototypes products and processes, supports transfer into manufacturing, and performs unit builds, testing, failure investigations, and equipment validation to help ensure products meet internal and industry standards.

What you'll do

• Participate in new concept design and development
• build prototypes and evaluate designs and processes
• perform and document bench tests
• conduct engineering unit builds, tests, and failure investigations
• recommend equipment, fixture, tool, and process improvements
• support testing and validation across product development and manufacturing
• calibrate and validate equipment and systems
• support engineering documents and manage Document Change Orders
• identify workflow and manufacturing problems and propose solutions.
