Activities Assistant

The Activities Assistant role is onsite in Bloomington, IL, and compensation is $15–$17.50 per hour. The assistant leads and supports recreational programs that encourage resident participation, inclusion, and engagement. The role contributes to community life by welcoming new residents, organizing events, and maintaining activity records and schedules.

What you'll do

• Lead assigned activity programs
• offer diversified recreational activities with appropriate supervision
• develop programs for residents, including those confined to their rooms when applicable
• encourage participation
• inform residents of upcoming activities and maintain event schedules
• welcome and engage new residents
• assist with parties, seasonal decorations, and birthday celebrations
• maintain activity and participation records
• may drive a company vehicle if required by the community.
