What you'll do

• Smooth and finish poured concrete floors to specified texture and flatness
• operate ride-on and walk-behind power trowels
• measure and lay out contraction joints
• cut slabs with power saws
• apply curing compounds as needed
• assist with finishing problems
• clean and maintain tools and equipment
• keep the work area safe
• set up and break down job sites
• dump, shovel, level, rake, sweep, roll, and inspect asphalt
• set up, pour, and finish concrete.
