Preschool Lead Teacher

The Preschool Lead Teacher role is onsite in Laguna Hills, CA. Pay is $20 per hour. Crossline Church’s childcare program serves children and families in accordance with the church’s educational philosophy. The lead teacher provides a safe, developmentally appropriate classroom, supports children’s daily needs and learning, and guides classroom assistants so the program can deliver consistent care and education.

What you'll do

• Engage children in developmentally stimulating activities and play
• assist with daily care
• supervise children
• communicate with parents
• maintain a clean, organized, safe classroom
• supervise and train teacher assistants
• plan daily activities and weekly lessons
• conduct child assessments and parent-teacher conferences
• prepare monthly newsletters and daily activity records
• attend occasional parent participation and other events, including possible nights or weekends.
