Structured Cabling Technician

Job overview

The Structured Cabling Technician role is onsite in Sparks, NV, supporting a ground-up construction project rather than an operating data center. Compensation is $25–$42 per hour, with weekly pay. The project team delivers large-scale technology infrastructure builds with a focus on safety, quality, and execution. The technician installs structured cabling and may work on fiber depending on skill level. The role supports project delivery by completing installation assignments, interpreting plans, maintaining jobsite organization and safety, and producing closeout documentation and as-built drawings.

What you'll do

• Assist with structured cabling installation
• follow company and client safety policies
• organize materials, tools, and equipment
• read and interpret floorplans, drawings, specifications, and cut sheets
• manage time, manpower, and materials
• communicate professionally with customers and project leadership
• complete assignments to schedule and budget
• prepare job closeout and as-built drawings
• maintain security compliance and complete required paperwork.

Why this role
