Assistant Property Manager

Job overview

The Assistant Property Manager role is onsite at 900 Acqua Senior Apartments in Virginia Beach, VA, and pays $20–$24 per hour. The assistant property manager supports leasing, resident retention, collections, and day-to-day property operations. The role coordinates with maintenance and other staff to address resident needs and keep the community and leasing areas ready for prospective residents.

What you'll do

• Serve as the primary leasing professional
• generate leads through outreach and marketing
• respond to inquiries
• conduct tours and showings
• qualify prospects and process applications
• prepare and execute lease documents
• follow up with prospects
• manage renewals and resident engagement
• address resident concerns
• support collections and move-out charges
• back up check postings, purchase orders, and invoicing
• coordinate maintenance requests and unit turns
• inspect grounds, models, and leasing office.
