Environmental Technician

Job overview

The Environmental Technician role is onsite in Moses Lake, WA. Pay is $24–$30 per hour. GrayMar Environmental Services works in remediation, hazardous materials management, waste disposal, health and safety, and environmental emergency response to help clients manage risk and protect the environment. Working under a supervisor’s direct guidance, the technician performs remedial and emergency-response tasks, including confined-space work and equipment operation. The role contributes to safe project execution and environmental services while following required procedures and completing documentation.

What you'll do

• Wear PPE and follow safety procedures
• perform labor-intensive work in varied weather, confined spaces, and at heights
• operate light and heavy equipment
• attend required training and obtain certifications
• complete and submit paperwork
• participate in the rotating on-call schedule for emergency response
• travel out of town as projects require
• comply with drug testing and physical requirements.
