Senior Project Manager, Mechanical Contracting

The Senior Project Manager, Mechanical Contracting role is onsite in Newport News, VA. Compensation is up to $120,000. The position supports a mechanical contractor with mechanical, industrial, service, and in-house fabrication divisions and projects across commercial, institutional, industrial, and medical facilities. The project manager directs large projects from design and cost planning through construction coordination and closeout. The role contributes to quality project delivery by coordinating contractors and designers, managing labor and material budgets, and supporting startup, troubleshooting, and punch-list completion.

What you'll do

• Manage and direct large revenue projects
• negotiate project cost and design with owners, engineers, and general contractors
• perform design calculations and prepare equipment and material specifications for construction documents
• coordinate general contractors, subcontractors, inspectors, and designers
• monitor labor and material budgets
• and support startup, troubleshooting, and punch-list closeout.

Why this role
