The Senior Legal Counsel, Commercial role is onsite in El Segundo, CA. Pay is $187,000–$229,000 per year. CesiumAstro develops communication systems for satellites, unmanned aerial vehicles, launch vehicles, and other space and airborne platforms. Reporting to the Vice President and General Counsel, this hands-on role builds and scales commercial legal capabilities and provides practical legal guidance to support company growth. It partners with business, finance, product, procurement, and operations teams on contracts, risk, and strategic matters.

What you'll do

• Draft, negotiate, and execute customer, revenue, vendor, supplier, manufacturing, partnership, and joint development agreements
• partner with product, business development, and procurement teams
• develop contracting processes, templates, and playbooks
• advise stakeholders on legal and commercial risks
• support product launches, pricing, and go-to-market strategies
• build contracting workflows and approval processes
• support corporate governance, employment matters, mergers and acquisitions, intellectual property, international operations, and compliance programs
• manage outside counsel.
