Specimen Collector Phlebotomist

The Specimen Collector Phlebotomist role is onsite in Fort Wayne, IN. Compensation is $18–$21 per hour. Millennium Health is an accredited specialty laboratory providing medication monitoring and drug testing services to support clinical decision-making. The role collects and processes patient specimens and serves as a link between clinics and the laboratory. It supports accurate specimen handling, patient service, and the laboratory’s testing workflow.

What you'll do

• Collect blood, urine, and/or oral-fluid specimens
• process and package collections for shipping
• serve as an intermediary between practices or clinics and the laboratory
• record patient, physician-order, and laboratory information
• resolve specimen concerns involving billing or patient information in the ordering portal
• order and maintain onsite collection supplies
• observe collections when applicable
• driving between facilities may be required.

Why this role

Part-time schedule: Monday and Thursday, 8:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m. (16 hours per week). Female candidates are required for observed collections of gender-identified female patients. High school diploma or equivalent and a valid driver’s license are required; phlebotomy certification with one or more years of experience, or experience in place of certification, is sought.
