What you'll do

• Oversee Quality Assurance personnel across multiple shifts
• write inspection SOPs and forms and ensure procedures are followed
• oversee inspection equipment certification, perform gage calibration, and write or assist with CMM programming
• oversee repair and purchasing of inspection equipment
• train QA personnel
• maintain the QA budget
• update inspection procedures and gaging
• approve QA timesheets
• oversee marking and packaging
• contact vendors about quality issues
• conduct performance and wage reviews
• schedule personnel
• maintain material certification files.
