The Direct Support Professional (DSP) – Respite Services role is an onsite position in Charlotte, NC, supporting an adult in Mint Hill with six hours of respite service each Saturday. Pay is $16.07 per hour. InReach provides services to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The role provides companionship, care, and practical support to help the individual with home living, social participation, and community integration. It also supports medication routines and transportation to programs, work sites, and community activities.

What you'll do

• Provide instruction and assistance in home living environments
• help the individual identify and acquire valued social roles
• facilitate community integration and healthy social habits
• dispense medication and monitor dosages
• transport and accompany the individual to and from day programs, work sites, and community activities.
