Security Officer Screener

The Security Officer Screener role is onsite in Barstow, CA, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Pay is $16.90 per hour. The officer supports security at a government court location through Allied Universal, a security and facility services company. The screener helps maintain a secure and welcoming courthouse by screening visitors and belongings, monitoring access, and responding to security concerns. Clear communication and accurate documentation support orderly entry and incident response.

What you'll do

• Provide customer service to visitors, court personnel, attorneys, jurors, and the public
• screen people and belongings using screening equipment and established procedures
• monitor visitor flow and verify authorization
• respond to prohibited-item discoveries and emergencies
• complete activity logs and incident reports.

Why this role
