Production Technician – Sheet Metal Operator

Job overview

The Production Technician – Sheet Metal Operator role is onsite in Burlington, VT. Compensation is $22–$29 per hour. The operator fabricates sheet-metal components to specifications by running and setting up production equipment, checking finished parts, and following safety and quality procedures. The work contributes to production goals for foodservice equipment.

What you'll do

• Operate sheet-metal machinery, including press brakes, shears, punch presses, rollers, and CNC fabrication equipment
• interpret blueprints and work orders
• measure, cut, bend, and form sheet metal
• set up and adjust machines
• inspect finished parts
• maintain a safe work area
• report equipment issues
• handle materials and collaborate to meet production goals.
