Supplier Quality Engineer

Job overview

The Supplier Quality Engineer role is onsite in San Jose, California, with a day shift from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.; swing shift from 3:15 p.m. to 11:45 p.m. may be possible. Pay is $90,000–$120,000 annually. The role supports Foxconn Assembly’s quality work across suppliers and internal departments. The engineer assesses supplier capability, qualifies processes, and supports supplier quality through product development and production. These activities help maintain quality, compliance, and effective production processes.

What you'll do

• Build relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders
• assess supplier capability through site visits and process audits
• qualify supplier processes with engineering and inspection teams
• lead supplier risk management in new product development
• review supplier-related change control documents and specifications
• manage NCR/MRB activities
• conduct first-article sampling and reporting
• develop inspection instructions
• perform statistical analysis and SPC monitoring as required
• lead and coach IQC inspectors.
